Deborah Kay “Debbie” Bailey, 64-year-old Vinita resident passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 21, 1957, in Vinita, to Perry Foreman, Jr. and Fannie Sue (Best) Foreman. Debbie was a graduate of Vinita High School and a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Vinita. She worked many years for Dr. Wally Boone at his dental office, until his retirement. Debbie also worked a short time at the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, then worked at the Cherokee Nation Health Clinic from 2012, until her health forced her retirement. Debbie enjoyed antiquing, going shopping, concerts, and her time with Oliver her dog. The family includes her fiancée` Sonny England of Vinita, her mother, Sue Foreman of Vinita, a brother, Robert Foreman and wife Brenda of Vinita, her nephews, Deriek and wife Lindsey, Bobby, and a niece, Kandace. She was preceded in death by her father, Junior Foreman, aunt Annette Burton, uncle Frank Best, and her grandparents. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita. The celebration of life will be on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel, with Rev. M. E. Cashen officiating.
