Alma Elizabeth Hale

Alma Elizabeth (Giyer) Hale passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021.  She was born March 8, 1929, in Turkey Ford, Oklahoma to John B. Giyer and Ollie O. (Morgan) Giyer.

Alma married Darrell Dee Hale, SR on March 24, 1950, in Vinita, OK. They celebrated 49 years of marriage before Darrell’s passing in May of 1999. Alma loved traveling with her late husband while he was in the US Army. They settled in White Oak, OK on a farm to raise their three children. Alma was well known for her embroidering and quilts that she made in her spare time. She also enjoyed raising a garden, arrowhead hunting and canning, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and helping her grandchildren.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell; siblings, Clinton, Clifford, Margene, Ray, Elsie, Lloyd, Johnny and grandchild, Darrell Dee Hale III.

Survivors include children, Elizabeth Ann Rohrs and husband John of Lamont, OK, Arvada Sue Daugherty of White Oak, OK, Darrell Dee Hale, JR and wife Elaine of White Oak, OK; grandchildren, Nathan Brown of White Oak, OK, Rachel Oxford of Tonkowa, OK, Arvada Walker of White Oak, OK, Heath Nall of Osage Beach, CA, Stephan Hale of White Oak, OK, Donny Hale of Jupiter, FL, Kelli Hale of White Oak, OK, David Rohrs of Enid, OK, Dillion Rohrs of Enid, Ok and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 7, 2021, in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Services are set for 10:00 am Friday, October 8, 2021, in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the White Oak Cemetery, White Oak, OK.
