Ollie Mae Rucker Snyder

MANNING - Ollie Mae Rucker Snyder, 92, widow of William Thomas Snyder, Jr., died Monday, October 4, 2021, at her home. Born November 6, 1928, in St. Matthews, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Rucker and the late Flaxie Rast Rucker. She was a member of Manning United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Earl Snyder and Clarence Snyder (Sherry), both of Manning; five grandchildren, Dusty Jones (David) of Summerton, Shawn Snyder (Amy) of Vance, Kenzie Dixon of Pamplico, Michelle Butler of Manning and Chance Richbourg (Jessica) of North; fourteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Charlie Rucker (Dot) of Beaufort and Douglas Rucker (Emily) of St. Matthews; four sisters, Roberta Doyle of Register, GA, Lucille Harmon (Caston) of North Augusta, Peggy Garvin of Lexington and Viola Kirvin (Charles) of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Richbourg; and a sister, Aline Rhame. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. David D. McManus, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder-Price Cemetery (back of Clarendon Memorial Gardens). Pallbearers will be Cody Jones, Lane Jones, Ian Jones, Tyler Snyder, Brice Dixon and Justin Wion. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1465 Bloomville Road, Manning. Memorials may be made to Manning United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 68, Manning, SC 29102. Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N.
