<p>Joyce Ann Tims, age 74, of Bear, Delaware, left this world to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 27, 2021.</p> <p>Born in Wilmington Delaware, Joyce worked at Union Hospital, Elkton, Maryland and retired as a medical transcriptionist from Diagnostic Imaging in Newark, Delaware. She was a graduate of Christiana High School.&nbsp; She enjoyed singing, crocheting and spending time with her family.</p> <p>Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel B. Embert and June F. Nelson Embert; her sister, Bonnie Roderiques; her brother, Jake Embert; nephew, Stephen MacDowell; and great niece, Morgan MacDowell.</p> <p>Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Norman Tims of Bear; her daughters, Lyn&nbsp; Hamrick (Aaron) of Newark, Wendy&nbsp; Owsiany (Kyle) of Odessa; sisters, Barbara MacDowell of Newark, Yvonne Magnus (Dave) of North Carolina, Carlene Humphreys of North Carolina; five grandchildren; one great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>A Memorial Service will be held at Fairwinds Baptist Church, 801 Seymour Rd. Joyce Ann Tims, age 74, of Bear, Delaware, left this world to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 27, 2021.
