<p>Joyce Ann Tims, age 74, of Bear, Delaware, left this world to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 27, 2021.</p> <p>Born in Wilmington Delaware, Joyce worked at Union Hospital, Elkton, Maryland and retired as a medical transcriptionist from Diagnostic Imaging in Newark, Delaware. She was a graduate of Christiana High School. She enjoyed singing, crocheting and spending time with her family.</p> <p>Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel B. Embert and June F. Nelson Embert; her sister, Bonnie Roderiques; her brother, Jake Embert; nephew, Stephen MacDowell; and great niece, Morgan MacDowell.</p> <p>Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Norman Tims of Bear; her daughters, Lyn Hamrick (Aaron) of Newark, Wendy Owsiany (Kyle) of Odessa; sisters, Barbara MacDowell of Newark, Yvonne Magnus (Dave) of North Carolina, Carlene Humphreys of North Carolina; five grandchildren; one great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>A Memorial Service will be held at Fairwinds Baptist Church, 801 Seymour Rd.
