<p>A memorial service for Craig Kennedy Volz, 95, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Wheatland Bible Church with Pastor Danny Fredericks officiating. Inurnment will be at the Wheatland Cemetery.</p> <p>Craig Kennedy Volz of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas went to be with his savior on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.</p> <p>Craig was born Sunday, August 30, 1925 to the late Carl and Aura Kennedy Volz in Hildreth, Nebraska.</p> <p>Craig graduated from Torrington High School in 1942, the University of Wyoming with a degree in Civil Engineering, and was a United States Army Air Corp Pilot Veteran, serving from 1943-1946. He owned the Ford dealership in Torrington and farmed in Lingle, Wyoming, and served and worked as a civil engineer with the United States Soil and Water Conservation Department in Wheatland and Sheridan, Wyoming. Craig was also a member of the Village Bible Church.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sara; his daughter, Cindy Raish; his sister, Connie Rock; and great grandson, Miles Holton.</p> <p>Craig is survived by his wife, Zonola “ZeeZee” Volz; one son, Kerry (Gayle) Volz of Wheatland; his stepchildren, Catie Rogan of Saint Louis, Missouri and David Carter of Fort Collins, Colorado; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren.</p> <p>Memorials may be made in Craig’s name to Arkansas Hospice Foundation, 508 Ouachita Avenue Suite A., Hot Springs, Arkansas 71909.</p> <p>The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.</p> <p>Condolences may be sent to the family at www.gormanfh.com</p>Obituary
