Loretta Marie Collins July 12, 1936 – October 3, 2021 Passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and devoted caregivers, at the age of 85. Predeceased by her darling daughter Perpetua, son-in-law Paul Allen, parents Joseph & Elsie Greene, Siblings: Cec & Mary, Joe & Mary & Gladys, Mary & Bill Norman, Elsie O’Keefe, Rita & Bob Crowell, Sylvia & Paul Kelly. In-laws: Reginald & Mary Collins, Sandy Collins, Alice & Chris Cooper, Autie & Vera, Adelaide & Lowell Frasier, Joe & Pat, Reggie & Chrissie, Eugene & Anne, Pete Mullins and Tom Griffiths. Left to mourn her husband of 65 years, Bill, her children Cindy & Leonard Power, Lorne & Annie, Wanda & Ed Sisk, Owen & Shirley, Tammy (Ron Brown), Janine & Frank McGrath, Mandy & Michael Schneider. Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren: Leslie & Vik (Aiden & Kabir), Robin & Peter (Lilly, Joseph, Alex & Lorne), Michael, Billy, William & Jade (Nash, Zane & Gage), Adam & Melissa, Evan & Keisha (baby girl coming soon), Liam, Kaitlin & Lee, Mollie & Robert (Caroline & Landon), Kelsey, Brady & Lauren, Keegan, Ethan & Anika, Ali & Clay, Chaya and Miriam. Her caregivers Mary Flood and Joan Follett-Sandell and niece Rossie. Siblings: Marion Griffiths, Frank, Pius & Yvonne. In-laws: Raymond & Tish, Rose Mullins, Theresa Collins and Art O’Keefe, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Thanks to the Placentia Health Centre and Powers Ambulance for their care and professionalism. Also, family friend, Darlene Neville for always being there. Loretta spent her life caring for her family both immediate and extended. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations to the Down Syndrome or Alzheimer’s societies appreciated. Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 - 9:00 Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 7 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 10:30 a.m. by invitation only due to Covid-19 restrictions.
