Timothy Eugene Cline

Timothy Eugene Cline, 7/31/1961 to 9/13/2021, passed away peacefully at the VA Hospice after a short fight with cancer. He was born in Everett, WA, to Richard and Jo Ann Cline, who preceded him in death. He was married to Laura Anne Lawless Cline for 38 years. He is survived by his wife and three sisters, Diana Cline Paladin, Cynthia Cline Simpson, and Melissa Cline. He had many nieces and nephews. Tim was a graduate of Armijo HS in Fairfield, CA. Ever the patriot, he joined the USAF in 1979 until his retirement in 2019. His last post in Albuquerque was with the New Mexico Air National Guard assigned to the 150th Logistics Readiness Squadron. During his time with the Air Force, he pursued advanced studies, receiving the following diplomas: Associates of Science, Education and Training Technologies, Community College of the Air Force, 2000; Bachelor of Science, Leadership and Ministry, Indiana Wesleyan University, 2014; Associates of Science, Logistics Management, Community College of the Air Force, 2018. He also received certification in Air Force Logistics Management School at Lackland AFB in 2006. Tim was studying for his Master of Divinity, having completed 36 hours from Indiana Wesleyan Seminary. A loving husband who was known to be a hard worker and helper of people, Tim enjoyed reading Shakespeare and SciFi/Fantasy. They had been looking forward to camping trips. Tim and Laura were “Hams”, amateur radio operators; Tim was president of the Amateur Radio Caravan Club -- KD5YMT is Silent Key. He and Laura lived in Albuquerque for 26 years where he became an associate pastor at Celebrate Wesleyan church. He also had started a YouTube channel to publish his Bible studies. A member of his church noted that Tim was “a great man of God and has made a difference in our lives…he encouraged me and others.” Chaplain Joseph Kamphuis will conduct the service at Kirtland AFB chapel on October 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. There will be no graveside service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the VA Hospice.
