Eunice Faye Chapmond Kilgore passed from this life with her family present September 29,2021, at the age of 78 years, 5 months, and 15 days in Elk City, OK.  Eunice was born to her parents Archie and Edris Olene (Davis) Chapmond in Poteau, OK, April 14, 1943.

Eunice has been a longtime resident of Sayre, OK, for the past 40 years.  She and her late husband Marion (Jerry) Kilgore married September 30, 1978.  Eunice loved spending time outdoors with such things as fishing and camping. Her favorite holiday was the upcoming Halloween season. She took great pride in decorating her yard for all to enjoy and giving out candy to the neighborhood children. Eunice also enjoyed collecting buffalo memorabilia. She loved the buffalo theme. Eunice’s greatest enjoyment was spending precious quality time with her family and friends and researching her family genealogy.

Surviving Eunice include her  son:  Weldon and wife Becky Kilgore of Sayre, OK;  daughter:  Franklia Olene and husband Buster Brewer of Sayre, OK;  stepson:  John Paul (Butch) and wife Jennifer Kilgore of Muskogee, OK;  stepdaughter:  Paula and husband Terry Admire of McAllen, TX;  brother:  Wayne Chapmond of San Antonio, TX; a very special uncle:  Lester Davis; as well as 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Preceding Eunice in death include her parents, husband and 1 daughter:  Eletta Boyer, 1 brother:  Leon Chapmond; 1 sister:  Lois and brother -in-law Mike Bess.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Rose Chapel, Sayre with Minister Kerry Hookstra officiating. Interment will follow at Sayre-Doxey Cemetery.  Visitation will be held, Monday, October 4, 2021, at Rose Chapel, Sayre from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
