It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our mother, Aline Allard who passed away on September 27, 2021 at the age of 93 in Dalhousie N.B Born March 25th, 1928 She was the daughter of the late John Doucet and Eva Doucet(Arsneault). Aline’s life had many chapters in it a mother of 6 children, who adapted to life by taking on many roles along the way..managing a corner store in Benjamin River in 60’s, helping out with dad’s lobster fishing ,working at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Dalhousie and assisting with the many house construction that were completed in Dalhousie, Darlington and the Welch Rd house. Aline was always willing to try a new sport like Salmon fishing, cross country skiing at the camp in the southeast or snowmobiling and even driving a motorcycle.She took canoe lesson in her 60’s so she could go canoeing with her family on the Upsalquitch River. She loved to go for long drives with her husband Camille to places like Cornwall and London, Ontario to visit family. A cross Canada trip to help a family member in 7 days..Winter trips to escape our freezing weather included several times to Florida and California. With friends they travelled to more exotic destinations including Cartagena Columbia, Venezuela , Acapulco and Cancun Mexico. She visited Maui Hawai and New Zealand with her son Roger and family were some of her favourite times. Aline and Camille moved to Calgary in 1991 where they lived with family until Camille's passing in 2004. Aline moved back to NB where she lived independently with great support from her daughter and sons. Aline and Camille were always there to support family and give a helping hand. Aline never steered away from a debate over any subject would be fair to say. Some words to describe her are Loving,Generous,Kind and High Spirited .. Aline will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Aline Allard is survived by her children Bob(Joan),Camilla(Greg),Gerald (Linda),Roger (Jennie)and Greg. Grand children; Trena (Marc) Jeff, Sarah, April(Marja),Kris(Mike)Paige,Myles and Camille;Great grandchildren; Brandon, Hailey, Selacia(Rebecca),Gabriel,Angel and Dominique.

She was predeceased by her devoted husband Camille Allard, son George, Brothers Leo and Albert Doucet.

The Allard family would like to thank the staff of the Dalhousie Nursing Home (Villa Renaissance) for their support of our mom
