Mass of Christian burial for Donald D. Culey will be at 9 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Gillette, WY with Father Cliff Jacobson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette, WY. Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. with a vigil at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017. Donald “Donnie” Dale Culey, age 60, passed away of natural causes at his home in Gillette, WY on Saturday, July 23, 2017. Donnie and his twin sister were born on May 29, 1957 to Jerry and Emma Jean (Sack) Culey in Onida, South Dakota. He attended school in Onida and graduated from Sully High School in 1975. After graduating high school Donnie and his brother moved to Gillette, Wyoming and shortly the rest of the family followed them to Wyoming. Donnie worked in several janitorial jobs and was currently employed with Menards. Donnie’s hobbies included riding his bike, playing pool and spending time with his dog, Buster. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Don is survived by his father, Jerry Culey, his sisters, Debbie Hargens, Jerilyn Cross, Denise Zeeck, Lisa McCue, Kari Barnett, Kelli Nordin, Cydni Burton and brother Bret Culey all of Gillette, WY., Numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Emma Jean Culey and brother Derric “Duke” Culey. A memorial has been established in Don’s name to benefit St. Matthew’s Catholic Church and may be sent in his name to the Walker Funeral Home 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82716.
