Donnie Albert Carter

It is with great sadness the family of Donnie Carter announces his passing on September 27, 2021, at Hospice Fredericton after a short battle of cancer. Donnie was born August 16, 1963 and lived his life in the Minto community and Grand Lake area. He loved to help anyone he could, by yard work, snow shoveling, piling wood. He enjoyed his time talking to his friends over coffee at the Tim Horton parking lot. He had a passion for trout fishing with him and his dad and driving over to Oromocto shopping mall. Donnie will live in the hearts of his mother (Ruth), sisters; Charlotte Clegg, Dawnna (Robert) Smith, Carol (Sullivan) Hamilton and brother, Allan (Joyce) Carter as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins and chosen brothers (Kevin Nicklin & Marsha) and (Bruce Hogg & Gloria). In addition to his loving family, Donnie was predeceased by his father, Aubrey Carter whom passed away in 2019. Special thanks go out to everyone who visited and cared for Donnie while he was at home. (Brenda & Mark Tyler) and family members and his last days at Hospice Fredericton. Arrangements have been entrusted to compassionate care at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services upon Donnie’s request, there is no general viewing, a church service will be held 1:00PM, Friday, October 1, 2021 at the United Baptist Church Minto with Pastor Brent Clark following service the interment will be at the Newcastle Creek Cemetery Extension. In honour of any donations as requested by Donnie to the Fredericton Hospice House, Cancer Society or charity of donor’s choice. Masks are mandatory and will need to provide proof of vaccination and government issued ID.
