John P. 'Jack' Haller

John P. Haller, Sr. died on Monday May 22, 2017 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was 85 years old. Mr. Haller was born in Kearny. He resided in Union for 12 years before returning to Kearny where he lived for 40 years. He later lived in East Windsor before moving to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. in 1993. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a 1964 graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor's Degree in Math. He was a Senior Quality Engineer for Purolator, Inc. in Rahway for 10 years prior to working as an Electronic Technician for the US Postal Service in Newark where he worked for 30 years. He retired in 1997. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn (Cowell) Haller of Clearbrook, Monroe Twp., his son, John P. Haller, Jr. of Lawrenceville, and many other extended family members. A funeral liturgy will be 11:00am on Friday at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by a private interment. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Eden Autism Services 2 Merwick Rd.
