Margaret A. "Peg" Del Prete

<p>96, of Wakefield passed away peacefully at her home on September 27, 2021.&nbsp; She was the wife of the late Peter A. Del Prete.</p> <p>Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Hope (Tillman) McGrath.</p> <p>Mrs. Del Prete worked for AT&amp;T for twenty years working as an operator and supervisor before retiring.&nbsp; She was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking and sewing.&nbsp; Mrs. Del Prete was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.</p> <p>She leaves six children, Paul Del Prete and his wife Barbara of Block Island and FL, Michael Del Prete of MA, Daniel Del Prete and his wife Linda of Warwick and FL, Donna Gardiner and her husband Arthur of Charlestown, Teresa Thornton and her husband Rick of North Kingstown and Jim Del Prete of Warwick; and thirteen grandchildren.&nbsp; She was the sister of the late Dolores Bolandz, Helena Prohaska, John McGrath, Flora Nelson and Thomas McGrath; and the grandmother of the late Christian Del Prete.</p> <p>Her funeral will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &amp; Crematory &ndash; SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, High Street, Wakefield.&nbsp; Burial will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.&nbsp; VISITATION Thursday from 9-10am.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jonnycake Center, 1231 Kingstown, Road, Peace Dale, RI 02879.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Mrs. Del Prete worked for AT&T for twenty years working as an operator and supervisor before retiring.  She was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking and sewing.  Mrs. Del Prete was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
