Bruce L. Endorf

Bruce L. Endorf, 70 of Arkansas City died Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Branson, MO. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City. Cremation has been effected. Bruce was born March 27, 1951 to Paul Kenneth Endorf and Wanda Lee (Christy) in Arkansas City. He graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1969 and attended Cowley Junior College. On December 7, 1972 he married Rhonda Neal and the couple had two daughters, Amy and Brandy. Rhonda passed unexpectedly in 1993. He later married Delaine Wilson on October 16, 2004 in Eureka Springs, AR. The couple made their home in Arkansas City. Bruce was a track foreman for BNSF 38 years retiring in 2011. Bruce was all things fun, friends & family. He was Papa Bruce and a great friend to many. He didn't know a stranger. Most of all, he was a loving husband & father. His goal was to make us all self-sufficient, tough and good. He loved to have a good time, while making sure everyone else had a good time as well. Full of life, speed and pranks. Teaching his kids how to drive- encouraging them to drive faster & not use the brake; "just downshift & hug the curve". He loved all things racing and spending time at the lake with family & friends. He is survived by his wife, Delaine of the home; daughters, Amy Grose and husband, Bret, Brandy Soule and husband, Clayton all of Arkansas City; bonus children, Bodie Wilson and wife, Danni of Anna, TX, Adrianne McVey and husband, Joshua of Arkansas City, Blaine Ostronic and husband, Bill of Eudora, Colby Wilson and wife, Amber of Muldrow, OK; grandchildren, Braylee Wynn, Lindsay Aguinaga, Dallas Wynn, Bret Grose, Jr., Brendan Johnson, Breonna Tharp, Kyce Morgan, Kale Morgan, Braylon Wilson, Chloe Knaus, Haleigh Wilson, Brexton McVey, Hadley Wilson, Greyson Soule and Asher Wilson; two great grandchildren, Blakely and Maddox Aguinaga. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Rhonda; brother, Eddie Endorf and grandson, Trey Ostronic. Memorials have been established with the Northside Baptist Church youth group or the Lupus Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
