Dorothy "Dottie" Jean Mullis, 74, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 24, 2021. She was born July 18, 1947 to the late John Dennis and Carrie Pryor Oliver. Dorothy was a beautician and a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church for 50 years. Dorothy enjoyed puzzles, time with her family, grandkids, and her dog.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Chris Landress and Joyce Gillard, and brother-in-laws Roger Gillard and Danny Mullis.

Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Edwin Lee Mullis, son David (Annette) Mullis of Chattanooga, daughter Hollie (Jeremy) Freeman of Rossville, brothers Charles (Paula) Oliver and Jimmy (Elaine) Landress both of Ringgold, sister Joan Shaw of Fort Oglethorpe, grandchildren Cassidy, Dawson, Justin, and Jenny Beth, in-laws Bobby (Pat) Mullis, Becky (T.D.) Watson, Tommy (Tina) Mullis, several nieces and nephews, and her Dachshund Molly.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday in the Heritage Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jim Bennett officiating. Interment in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
