Obituary
Mr. James Robert Stough, II age 82, of Blackshear, passed away Friday evening (9/24/21) at Harborview Health Systems Pierce County following an extended illness.
Born August 3, 1939 in Wabasso, Florida, he was a son of the late Roy T. and Nellie Ethel Cook Stough. He lived most of his life in Wabasso where he was the owner of Stough’s Grove Services growing citrus. He moved to southeast Georgia in 2006 and had lived in Ware and Pierce Counties and was a member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church in Waycross.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Miller Stough; and his brother, Roy Stough, Jr.
Survivors include his three children, Terra Lynn Mahovetz (husband Matthew) of Blackshear, James Mitchell Stough and Robert Michael Stough, both of Ft. Myers, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Kathryn Stough of Sebastian, FL, Christina Lynn Mahovetz and Andrea Gail Mahovetz, both of Blackshear; sister, Clara Spark of Stuart, Florida; and several other relatives.
A private service will take place.
