<p>Scott Bredeson, 53, of Devils Lake, ND, died Wednesday, September 22nd, at Sanford Health Broadway Clinic in Fargo. His memorial service will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 29th at Eagle Lake Lutheran Church in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to his service. Burial will be in Clover Leaf Cemetery in Willmar. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. www.hafh.org</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Edwin Scott Bredeson was born April 22, 1968, to Edwin &ldquo;Bud&rdquo; and Joyce (Gilbertson) Bredeson in Willmar. He was baptized and later confirmed at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar. While growing up Scott lived on the family farm where he helped his father farm. He graduated from Willmar High School in 1986 and continued his education at Ridgewater College where he received his AA degree. He became a truck driver for a few years before moving to Devils Lake, ND. On July 15, 2017, Scott was united in marriage to Malissa Tester on the family farm in Willmar. They continued to live in Devils Lake where they became foster parents. Scott loved spending time with his foster kids, often taking them on vacations, or hunting and fishing trips. He also enjoyed spending time raising horses and goats. He was a loving husband, father, son, and friend.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Scott is survived by his wife, Malissa; mother, Joyce Bredeson; children: Nathan (Ashley) Tischer and their children: Kenzi and Azriella; and Orville (fianc&eacute;, Samantha) Tischer and their children: Elena, Dean, and Bentley. He is also survived by his sisters: Barbara (Les) Smith, Beverly (Ronald) Kallevig, and Betty (Kenton) Magnuson; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Bredeson.</p>
