Nancy Campbell Obituary

Nancy “Wren” Campbell, 77, of Fort Smith passed away on Friday September 24, 2021 in a local hospital. She was born January 10, 1944 in Spiro, OK to James Roland and Gladys (Pitchford) Wren. Nancy was retired from Human Resources for USA Truck, a member of Rye Hill Baptist Church and the Kings Daughters Sunday School Class and an avid OU fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelby, her parents, a sister, Margaret Wren and four brothers, Jack, Jim, Charles and Roy Wren. She is survived by two daughters, Janet Henry and her husband Bobby of Fort Smith and Elizabeth Harper of Florida; two grandchildren, Kelci Campbell and her fiance Stephen Baker and Clayton Boggs and his wife Jocelyn four great-grandchildren, Selby and Easton Campbell, Elliott and Adley Boggs. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday September 28, 2021 at Rye Hill Baptist Church with cremation to follow the service under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. The family will visit with friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to either Rye Baptist Church for the Lottie Moon Offerings 11501 US-71 Fort Smith, AR 72916 or to Kitties and Kanies Shelter 4800 South 46 Street Fort Smith, AR 72903.
