Gina L. Silcox

Gina L. Silcox, age 62, went home to be with Her Savior, on September 25, 2021. Born on September 7, 1959, in Scott County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Cleamon and the late Zelia Voiles Goad. She was happily married to the love of her life, Michael Silcox, for over 20 years. She loved worshipping her Savior and being a blessing to others through song. Gina richly enjoyed playing the piano at her home churches and for the Chitwood Family. She more recently enjoyed making personalized wreaths and artworks. She loved the life the Lord blessed her with as a wife, daughter, mother, nana and especially a child of God. She was a member of New River Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Zelia Goad and her brother, Devon Goad. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Silcox, of Oneida, Tennessee, her father, Cleamon Goad of Oneida, Tennessee, son, Chase and his wife Faith Lay of Avon, Indiana, step-daughter, Crystal and her husband, Greg Boshears of Huntsville, Tennessee, step-son, Dustin Silcox of Straight Fork, Tennessee, nephew, Michael Goad of Clinton, Tennessee and niece, Amanda Goad of Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was also survived by her eight grandchildren, Morgan Boshears, Dalton Boshears, Jax Boshears, Sawyer Barnes, Saylor Silcox, Ledgen Goad, Ilylthyia "Lily" Goad and Veren Goad. Friends may visit with the Silcox family at 4:30pm to 6:30pm, on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:30pm with Bro. Kermit Phillips, Bro. Payton Slaven and Bro. Chase Lay. Music will be provided by the Chitwood Boys, Charles Goad, and Justin Wright. Burial will be Wednesday, 10:00am, September 29, 2021 at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Greg Boshears, Dustin Silcox, Tommy Silcox, Steve Griffith, Michael Goad and Chase Lay. In Lieu of Flowers, family is requesting donations be made to the Gina L. Silcox Memorial Fund C/O Four Oaks Funeral Home PO Box 410 Huntsville, TN 37756 Due to COVID-19, our firm strongly recommends usage of masks, and that all attendees maintain appropriate social distancing, and be considerate of all others in attendance. I went to high school with Gina and she always presented herself as a child if God. She was a special lady with many talents and the love of playing the piano even many years ago. There is no doubt she is in the arms of God. Bless the family.
