Kimberly Dawn Walraven

Kimberly Dawn Bray Walraven, 50, 0f Resaca passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, in Cartersville Medical Center following several weeks of declining health.

Mrs. Walraven was born in Rome, Georgia on November 14, 1970, the daughter of the late Eulon and Frances Hayes Bray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Bray.

She attended Red Bud High School and was previously employed by IH Services and was in human resources management; loved her boys and her husband dearly, enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, quilting, and traveling with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Danny L. Walraven to whom she was married for 34 years; two sons, Zackary Walraven and Zeakieal Walraven; sister, Lynn Bray Highfield; brothers, Greg Bray, Steve (Donna) Bray along with other relatives.

Funeral services for Kimberly Dawn Bray Walraven will be held on Saturday, October 2nd at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Randolph officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Johnny Bray, Ryan Bray, Scott Bray, Andrew Bray, Avery Dixon, Isaiah Jackson, Jacob Bray, and Matthew Bray.

In lieu of funeral flowers, outdoor plants only or contributions may be made to “The Zackary Walraven Long Term Care Fund”, Post Office Box 1027, Calhoun, GA., 30703

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 2nd between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
