Kathleen "Kathi" J. Davis, 60 of Duluth passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 16, 2021 in her home. She was born April 17, 1961 in Cloquet to Harry and Carol (Johnson) Schubert. She graduated from Cloquet High School in 1979. On August 1, 1981 Kathi married Thomas Davis. Kathi worked as a teller at First Bank in Cloquet and later as a receptionist at Kolar. She retired early to spend more time with her granddaughter, Charlotte. Kathi's greatest joy in life was her loving family. She had a great sense of humor and her laugh was contagious. Kathi was a friend to anyone she met and was always willing to listen. She put other's needs above her own. Her granddaughter, Charlotte was the light of her life and fondly referred to her as "Nana Kathi". Kathi was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Roger Davis. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her husband of 40 years, Thomas; three daughters, Emily Davis of Duluth, Sara (Tyler) Reuter of Petersburg, VA, and Lexi (Chris Larson) Davis of Cloquet; sisters, Terry Lynn (Terry) Eggert of St. Anthony and Tracey (Peter) Kolar of Duluth; one granddaughter, Charlotte Larson; her mother-in-law, Shirley Davis of Cloquet; and many nieces and nephews. Gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. with a time of sharing at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2021 in the Atkins Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
