It is with great sadness that the family of Norman Robert Taylor announces his sudden passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Thursday, September 23, 2021, age 72 years of Harbour Breton, formerly of Grole. Norman leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Phoebe, married 49 years; son, Daniel (Jenelle) at Harbour Breton; daughters, Melanie (Dave Bungay) and Melissa (Geoffrey Lambert), all at Harbour Breton; special grandchildren, Alex, Phillip, Rianna and London; special fur babies, Reese and Lucie; sisters, Meta Bullen at Mount Pearl and Elizabeth Taylor (Roy) at Harbour Breton; brothers in law, Earl Strickland (Sarah) at Harbour Breton, Clayton Snook at Nova Scotia, John Bullen at English Harbour West and Clarence Bullen (Shirley) at Mount Pearl; sister in law, Florence (George Harding) at Grand Falls-Windsor; plus a circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Susanah Taylor; sister, Audrey Strickland; brother in law, Reginald Bullen; sisters in law, Marina Snook and Amy Bullen; other family members. Visitation for FAMILY ONLY took place at Spencer's Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Saturday, September 25 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm for the Public. Visitation for the Public also took place on Sunday, September 26 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm with the Family Service taking place at 7:00 pm. COVID-19 regulations were followed. Funeral Service was held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 3:00 pm from Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Norman’s memory may be made to the local Autism Group.
