<p>&nbsp;Armando Jesus Izquierdo was called home by our Lord on September 15, 2021.&nbsp; Armando was survived by his wife, Shawna Izquierdo; his daughter, Rosita Izquierdo - Rosa; his grandchildren, Jacob Rosa, Lukas Rosa, and Avalina Rosa; his siblings, Rosita Torres - Smith, Rick Barragan, Adrian Izquierdo and was preceeded in death by Albert Izquierdo.<br /> Armando was born in San Jose on September 3, 1954 to parents Jesus Izquierdo and Clara Torres.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> Armando was an electrician for Gallo Winery and I.B.E.W.&nbsp; He received his contractor license in 2009 and started his own company SoapStone Electric.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> He was proud to have served in the U.S. Marine Corps.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> Armando believed in the strength of family &ldquo;We are strong together&rdquo; was one of his favorite sayings.&nbsp; He loved spending time with his grandchildren Jacob, Lukas and Ava.&nbsp; They were the sunshine of his life.&nbsp;<br /> Armando had a knack for tinkering in the garage.&nbsp; He enjoyed woodworking and created a Da Vinci catapult for his grandkids.&nbsp; He also enjoyed movies and reading books.&nbsp; He especially loved history.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> Armando was deeply loved and will be missed.<br /> The viewing and service will be held on October 7, 2021 at Franklin &amp; Downs Funeral Homes 1050 McHenry Ave. Modesto. The viewing is 4:30pm to 7pm. The service will start at 5:30pm. The graveside service will be held on October 8, 2021 at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery 3200 Dakota Ave.&nbsp; Modesto. The service will start at 11am.</p>

 Armando Jesus Izquierdo was called home by our Lord on September 15, 2021.  Armando was survived by his wife, Shawna Izquierdo; his daughter, Rosita Izquierdo - Rosa; his grandchildren, Jacob Rosa, Lukas Rosa, and Avalina Rosa; his siblings, Rosita Torres - Smith, Rick Barragan, Adrian Izquierdo and was preceeded in death by Albert Izquierdo.
Armando was born in San Jose on September 3, 1954 to parents Jesus Izquierdo and Clara Torres.
