Marlene Graber, age 83 of Park Rapids, passed away peacefully September 20, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born June 5, 1938 in Minneapolis to Amanda and Gordon Ekstrum. Marlene graduated from Anoka H.S. in 1956. She married Warren “Butch” Graber in 1957. She enjoyed gardening, grouse hunting, visiting with family and friends and going to Willie Nelson concerts with her sister-in-law, Linda. She worked in appraising, assessing and abstracting services. Preceded in death by her husband, Warren “Butch” Graber; parents, Gordon and Amanda Ekstrum; brother Gordon Ekstrum, Jr; and nephew Daniel Ekstrum. Survived by son David (Denise) Graber of Bemidji and daughters, Sue Erdman of Brooklyn Park and Deb Graber (Brad) of Brooklyn Center; sister, Judy Bush (Bill) of Baxter; grandchildren, Jesse, Sarah, Jason, Jacob, Missy and Cody; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 2 at the Anoka American Legion.
