It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved husband and dad, Robert Richard Rovensky. Bob as most of you would have known him passed away September 19th, 2021 at the age of 75 after a long illness with his family by his side. Robert (Bob) was born to Victor and Sylvia Rovensky on January 31st, 1946 in Tisdale, SK. He grew up on the family farm near Peasane. Bob married Mary Christensen of Prairie River, October 1st, 1966. The couple lived in Hudson Bay for 5 years before they moved to Prairie River. Bob prided himself on his skills as a Journeyman Mechanic and Welder, Truck Driver and Logger, he never shied from hard work and getting his hands dirty, he was always there for everyone, lending a helping hand. This gentle, loving, and wonderful man has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be forever be missed by his wife and best friend of 55 years Mary and their children; Roxane (Dave) Gulash, Connie (Don) St Cyer, Mark Rovensky, Albert (Christina) Rovensky. He was proud and honored to be grandpa to Quinton, Marie (Danielle), Cassandra, Sierra, Haley and Wyatt and cherished his role as great-grandfather to Arabella. Also left to cherish his memory are his brothers Stanley, Frank (Marilyn) Rovensky, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Sylvia, brother Don and sister in law Margaret, and niece Juanita. The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at New Market Manor who provided palliative care for him this last year.
