Norma Ruth Murphy, age 79, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of White Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Byrd and Beatrice Moyers; sisters, Kay Moyers, Dorothy Jacob, June Oler, JoAnne Caughorn, and Faye Finne; and brother, Bob Moyers. She is leaving behind her husband of 57 years, Wade Turner Murphy , son and daughter-in -law, Ray and Tonja Murphy; grandson, Hunter Murphy; and granddaughter, Landree Murphy. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, September 24th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Tom Wells officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 25th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
