Sara A. (nee McBride) Barrett "Sally", 90, of Sea Isle City, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Legacy Born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Manoa, Sally was a former resident of West Deptford. She spent 91 summers in Sea Isle City and became a permanent resident 16 years ago.. Prior to retiring, Sally was employed by the South Jersey Times for 30 years. When Sally's husband died in 2011, she had a wonderful support group and became very involved in the HOPE Group (Helping Other People Evolve), in Cape May County. A loving, kind and humble lady, Sally was devoted to her family and her most important role was Mom. Her family was everything to her and she always put their needs before her own. Her grandchildren were the apples of her eye and she was looking forward to meeting her first great grandchild. Sally was an avid reader, loved to watch the 76ers and many family members have afghans that were knitted with love to remember Sally by. Family Beloved wife of the late Francis A. Barrett; devoted mother of Frank, Mary (Fred) Giuliano, Jim (Jenny) Barrett and the late Thomas; cherished grandmother of Brad, Christopher, Brian, Emmy, Tatem, Mac, Thomas, Noah and great grandmother to one on the way; dear sister of Jim (Dolly) McBride. Sally is also survived by her best friend of 84 years, Jean Doris and many loving nieces and nephews. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sally's viewing on Sunday, September 26, 2021, 2:00 - 4:00 PM and Monday, September 27, 2021, 9:00 - 10:00 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 11:00 AM in Holy Angels Parish at St. Patrick's RC Church, 64 Cooper Street, Woodbury, NJ.
