Martha Ellen Talley

Martha Ellen Weehunt Talley, 73, of Joshua, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, in Fort Worth. She was born August 28, 1948, in Cleburne to James Campbell Weehunt and Juanita Frances Jackson Weehunt. She married Charles Gordon Talley in Cleburne in 1998. Martha loved her job as a Cleburne ISD bus driver. She gave Cleburne ISD 15 plus years of service. The last 12 years she drove the special needs bus and discovered that was where she found a great deal of her happiness. Following her bus driving career Martha found her ultimate passion, which was simply being “G-ma”. She will be missed by her entire family. Martha is survived by her children, Carlton Glenn Talley of Cleburne, Marcus Earl Talley of Cleburne, Christie Lynn Talley-Perry of Cleburne, and step-son, Charles Gordon Talley Jr.; grandchildren, James Campell “J.C.” Weehunt Talley of Cleburne, James Lee Paul Talley of Azel, Conner Allen Glenn Talley of Cleburne, and Vincent Arthur Earle Talley and wife, Mackenzie of Cleburne; great-grandchildren, Marshall, Malachi, Marik and Levi; siblings, Sue Williams, Debra Lookingbill, and James Weehunt. Martha is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Gordon Talley; grandson, Richard Franklin Hiawatha Talley; stepdaughter, and Nada Lynn Lee.
