    DARVIN L. SCHUCK, age 89, of Worthington, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at his home in Worthington. He was born January 8, 1932, in Ocheyedan, IA, to Albert and Lillian (Eveland) Schuck. Darvin graduated from Sibley High School in 1950. He served his country during the Korean War from Dec. of 1952 to Dec. of 1954. He served as a Corporal in Iceland.
   Darvin married Eleanor Hammar on December 18, 1954, at the First Baptist Church in Worthington. The couple farmed west of Sibley, IA. In 1969, they moved into Sibley. They moved to Worthington in the spring of 1976. 
   He was a member of the Lakeside Church in Worthington. He enjoyed teaching Jr. High Sunday School at First Baptist Church in Sibley, IA. Darvin loved to read his Bible and share it with others. He also enjoyed bird watching, sheering sheep, collecting cans and playing horseshoes and ping pong with his twin brother, Marvin.
   Darvin is survived by his four children, Doug (Julie) Schuck, Ottumwa, IA; Linda (Rick) Boeder, Sioux Falls, SD; Margaret Wyman, Meridian, ID; and Miriam (Lusche) Dekarski, St. Paul, MN; thirteen grandchildren, Emilee (Tim) Wagner, Aaron (Abby) Schuck, Erikka (Drew) Russell, Adam Schuck, Christina (Tony) Burggraff, Melissa (Matt) Schmidt, Amanda (Broc) Giffey, Laura (Dan) Shields, Peter (Liz) Augustine, Paul (Hannah)  Augustine, Helen Wyman, Marilyn Wyman and Molly Dekarski; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a twin brother, Marvin (Rosie) Schuck, Worthington. 
   He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eleanor on December 12, 2019; two half-brothers; and one half-sister.

   Visitation will be from 3-5 pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington. Funeral will be at 11 am Saturday at the Lakeside Church, in Worthington, officiated by Pastor Dan Shields. A private family burial will precede the funeral with military honors provided by the Worthington American Legion & VFW at the Worthington Cemetery.
