Mr. Kenton Dean Whitrock, 54, died Sunday (September 19, 2021) at Memorial Satilla Health. He was born February 10, 1967 in Winamac, IN, but he has lived most of his life in Waycross. Kenton attended Ware County High School, and he was a member of Whitehall Freewill Baptist Church. He owned and operated Satilla Masonry. Kenton was preceded in death by his father, Kensil Oliver Whitrock, Jr.; and brother, Kevin Whitrock. Survivors include his mother, Thelma Melton of Waycross; five children, Jamie Blizzard, Kayla Light (Jamie) of Deltona, FL, Kaylee Whitrock of Deltona, FL, Kristina Whitrock of Ocala, FL, and Kade Whitrock of Waycross; five grandchildren, Kayda Whitrock, Kenena Whitrock, Brayden Whitrock, Regan Light and Kaydee Rash; brother, Kenneth Whitrock (Brenda) of Medaryville, IN; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday (September 26, 2021) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Jordan Cemetery in Dixie Union.
