Charlie Ray Lunsford, age 78 of Pine Bluff, passed away at his home on September 19, 2021.  He was born August 30, 1943 in Rison, AR to the late Henry and Mattie Winston Lunsford.  Charlie retired from Central Maloney after 37 years, and spent his free time painting, lawn care, working in his garden, watching westerns and reading his bible. He was of the Baptist faith and loved going to church.  In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his brothers, Adell, Billy, Troy, and Donnie Lunsford, sisters, Pauline Lunsford, Carolyn Leopard, and Maxine Ward.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Bullock Lunsford, son Mark Lunsford (Jane) of Florida, daughter, Marsha Nelson of Waldron, brothers, Lonnie, John, Larry, and Henry Lunsford, sisters, Dorothy Matkins and Martha Nickolson, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, with visitation 1 hour prior to service.  Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Rison.  Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
