<p>JANE L. HISER</p> <p>Jane L. Hiser, 87, of Piqua, passed away at 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born January 29, 1934 in Piqua to the late Ralph and Anna Loreen (Florka) Oda. She married Benjamin E. Hiser July 16, 1974 in Piqua; and he survives.</p> <p>Other survivors include three step-sons, Jeffrey (Janice) Hiser of Portland, Indiana, Benjamin B. Hiser of Piqua, Jonathan (Corinne) Hiser of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and one step-grandson, Eric (Tiffany) Hiser; a brother, Charles Edward (Linda) Oda of Jackson Hole Wyoming; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Mrs. Hiser was a 1951 graduate of Piqua Central High School and retired from the Mutual Federal Savings Bank following many years of dedicated service. She was a member of the YWCA of Piqua where she served on its Board of Directors, the Miami County Genealogist Society, the Piqua Business and Professional Women&rsquo;s Club where she served as its President, and Greene Street United Methodist Church. She loved animals as evidenced by her volunteer work with Bruckner Nature Center for many years. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.</p> <p>A service to honor her life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Jamieson &amp; Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Will Leasure officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Greene Street United Methodist Church, 415 W. Greene St., Piqua, OH 45356 or the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK&nbsp; 73123-1718.
