She was born on October 23, 1936 in Blythe Georgia, daughter of the late John Robert Palmer and the late Laura Bray Palmer. She is survived by her children: Leeckey (Sheila) Harvey, Richard (Linda) Harvey, Miriam (Kevin) Rutkiewicz; Grandchildren: Jasmine Wallach, Jennifer Smith, Reginald Wideman, Marie Harvey, Aaliyah Harvey, Bryanna Harvey, Shannon Harvey; Great-grandson: Grayson Harvey; Sister: Johnnie Mae Harvey, Ethel Mae Cook, Josephine Ponder, Christine Goolsby, Gussie Mae Boyd; Brother: Millard Palmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Tommy Lee Palmer and grandchild Johan Harvey. According to her wishes she is being cremated.
