Luis A. Miller Jr.

<p><strong>Luis A. Miller Jr., 68, of Worthington, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.&nbsp; He was born June 7, 1953 at 10:58 P.M. at his grandparent&rsquo;s home in Lower Burrell, Pa.&nbsp; He attended Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church.&nbsp; Luis married the former Debbie Toy on February 22, 1972 in Monroe, Michigan.&nbsp; He was a truck driver for 42 years, working for various companies including WW Rearick Trucking, Bracken Construction, McClymond Supply &amp; Transit, Russell Standout Corp., White&rsquo;s Paving, Voelker Paving, Short Time T.L. Excavating, and Terry Bowser Excavating.&nbsp; Luis loved driving trucks, was very fond of Buick cars, Mack Trucks, Farmall Tractors, and anything International Harvester.&nbsp; He also liked Detroit Diesel Engines and antique gas and steam engines. &nbsp;He amassed a large collection of antiques over the years. &nbsp;Luis was a member of the Pottersville Steam Engine Club and Smicksburg Antique Engine and Tractor Club.&nbsp; He was also a member of the American Truck Historic Society. &nbsp;He loved farming and raised beef cattle for over 35 years.&nbsp; He also loved cutting wood, his dog Rex, hunting, fishing in Canada, as well as gardening and fruit trees. &nbsp;He loved bluegrass music and traveling with his wife.&nbsp; He was a jack of all trades who could fix or repair anything.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Left behind to cherish his memory includes his wife of nearly 50 years, Debbie L. Miller, of Worthington; son, Luis (Jennifer) A. Miller III, of Sarver; daughter, Susan M. (Denny) Ballock, of Worthington; brother, Ron (Becky) Miller, of Dayton; brother, Larry (Joyce) Miller, of Rimersburg; sister, Velma Hoffman, of North Dakota; brother, David (Katie) Miller, of Worthington; and numerous nieces and nephews. &nbsp;He was preceded in death by his parents, Luis A. Miller Sr., who passed away Sept. 25, 2004, and Velma J. (Troup) Miller, who passed away Dec. 17, 2017.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Friends and family will be received on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, PA 16262.&nbsp; Additional visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 24, at Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church, 590 Protzman Rd., Butler, PA from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jon Troyer officiating.&nbsp; A graveside committal service will follow at Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington, Pa.&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>

Luis A.
