Lillian "Lin" C Batinsey
Lin C. Batinsey, 88, of Eatontown, passed away on September 18, 2021. Lin was born on March 18, 1933 in Queens, NY to the late Michael and Emily (Heck) Rudolph who both emigrated from Germany.<br><br>Lin was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was always an active and vibrant force in her family’s lives. She was the quintessential homemaker who excelled at cooking, interior decorating, nurturing, entertaining and sharing how to have fun. She was an avid tennis fan and also played tennis during her younger years. Her extensive knowledge of Hollywood movie history could have easily landed her a job with Turner Classic Movies.<br><br>Surviving Lin is her devoted husband John Batinsey, her children; Stephen Batinsey, Janet Byrne, MD and her husband Rich Bernaudo and her grandson Luke Byrne and wife Dr. Jinghui Zhang. <br><br>A memorial gathering will be held on September 24, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724. A service will be held at the funeral home on September 24, 2021 at 7:00 PM. Enichement will be private.
