<p>Ruby Claudia Hicks Mannis, 92 of Rossville, went peacefully to be with her Lord Jesus on Sunday, September 19, 2021.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Ruby was born in Chattanooga, TN but had lived most of her adult life in the North Georgia area. She worked for many years at area hospitals as an LPN and was proud of the care she gave her patients. Ruby was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church, as well as, a member of the Dorcas Chapter of the Eastern Star.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Ruby is predeceased by her husband, Paul Mannis; parents, Claude Hicks and Ella Mae Hicks Tate; and daughter-in-law, Carol Norman.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by her three children: Linda Norman Young (Ed), Bob Norman (Donna), and Pamela Norman Robertson (Rod); she was blessed with seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; and her very special friend, Wendell White.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 1pm in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Condolences may be shared at lane-southcrestchapel.com</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Tapestry Hospice and The Canopy at Boynton Ridge for their care of our beloved mother.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:30am-12:30pm in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home &amp; Crematory, Rossville.</p>

Ruby Claudia Hicks Mannis, 92 of Rossville, went peacefully to be with her Lord Jesus on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
