ANGELA RENEE HOKE Obituary

Angela Renee Hoke was born September 20, 1979 in Galveston, TX and walked into the arms of Jesus on September 11, 2021 at the age of 41. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and mother. She attended school in LaMarque and went to Alvin Community College to earn an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. Angela was a loving and caring daughter. She was also a sister that her siblings knew they could always count on no matter what, along with all her nieces and nephews.  At the age of nine, she met a boy named Joey, who would become her “Whole World”. They were married July 13, 2002 and to that union came the blessing of five beautiful children, Nathan, Madisyn, Alyssa, Jacob, and Destiny. Some of the special memories they will always have with her are, Joey would say, “I love you from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet” while he was rubbing his hands from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet which would make her laugh. Nathan loved spending time with her while they cooked outside on the grill. Madisyn always wanted to do her make-up so she could tell her how beautiful she was when she was through putting it on her. Alyssa loved to play cards like Skip-Bo or Uno with her along with celebrating their Birthdays together since they were only one day apart. Sadly, Jacob entered the arms of Jesus when he was 3 days old and now she is holding him in her arms. Destiny loved to sing with her, one of their favorite songs was “Elvira” by the Oak Ridge Boys because Angela liked the deep voice of one of the singers. Angela was a very kind, forgiving, and giving person with a big heart, she would give you the shirt off her back if she had to. Those that left before Angela were her son, Jacob Hoke; grandparents, Jack Johnson; Archie and Joyce Mack; mother and father-in-law, Judy and Frank Beasley; and nephew Austin Hoke. She will be forever loved and missed by her husband, Joseph Hoke; children, Nathan Edman; Madisyn Hoke (Trevor), Alyssa Hoke (Alan), and Destiny Hoke. Father-in-law, Lee Hoke; Grandma, Alice Johnson; Father, Adrian Fulton; parents, Teresa and Richard Edman. Siblings, Sammy Fulton, Paige Fulton, Donald Edman and wife Sabra, and Kourtney Wilcox and husband Charles. Nieces and nephews, Danika (Andrew), Noel (Zac), Donald (Angela), Dale, Hayden, Weston, River, Hunter, and Taylor. Aunts and uncles, Diane Fowler and husband Terry; Tommy Hoke and wife Kathy; Debra Capehart and husband Howard; Greg Mack and wife Denise; William Mack and wife Charity. Sister-in-law, Tonya Hoke; and brother-in-laws, Lee “Bubba” Hoke and wife Christy, and Kit Beasley. Along with a very large family of great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Angela also had many friends, which she also considered her family as well.  We will be celebrating Angela’s life in her home town of Santa Fe, TX, at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Rockview Church with Pastor Greg Mack officiating.
