Wanda Gayton

Wanda Lynn Gayton, age 56, of Forsyth County, GA, passed away on September 18, 2021. Wanda loved her grandchildren and looked for an opportunity to bake sweets for her family anytime she could. She loved her family greatly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Sybil Chester; grandparents, Ernest and Joshie Palmer, Charlie and Hattie Chester. She is survived by her children, Clarissa Gayton, Jonathan (Cynthia Chapman) Gayton; siblings, Teresa Chester, Vickie Chester, Becky Wheeler, Gene Goswick, James Wheeler; grandchildren, Jaelynn Fortune, Bentley Fortune, Adrian Baran, Tucker Gayton, Channing Chapman, Valerie Gayton; with many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 3:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Ray Martin officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 21, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Wednesday, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
