James H. "Jake" Mills, age 85, a native and life long resident of Cumming, GA., passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Jake was born on December 10,1935 to the late Harschell and Mae Holtzclaw Mills. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Cleo Payne and Mildred Couch; 4 brothers, Herman, Amos, Leman, and Broughton Mills. He was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. Jake retired as a self- employed painter. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Annie Mills; son, Danny Mills; brothers and sisters in law, Sherill and Jeanette Mills, Sherman and Shirley Mills. No services are planned.
