Mrs. Bonnie Nolen Rister, age 73, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at her daughters residence in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. She was born August 23, 1948 in Lewis County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Herman and Ethel Butler Nolen. Bonnie was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith. She loved sewing, yard saling, sitting on the creek bank and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Rister of forty-four years, three brothers, Larry Nolen, William Nolen and Bobby Nolen, one sister, Rosemary Nolen. Bonnie is survived by three daughters, Tammy (Carl) Darlington of Fleming County, Kentucky, Tina (Richard) Thurman and Alicia (Billy) Kibler all of Garrison, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, Homer (Jeannie) Nolen of Vanceburg, Kentucky, two sisters, Ruth (Kenny) Carroll and Betty (Wilk) Buckner all of Vanceburg, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Camp Dix, Kentucky with Brother Rick Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in the Dummitt Ridge Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Globe Family Funeral Chapel In Camp Dix, Kentucky. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
