Our beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2014. Lathrisha passed away at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center at the age of 39 years. Lathrisha was born July 21, 1974 in Cleveland, Ohio to Melvin Conner and Edna Mitchell.Lathrisha leaves behind two loving sons, Tommie and Brandon McCune, and their father, Tommie McCune Sr.; Lathrisha’s fiancé, Brian Patrick; a sister, LaScheal (Terrence) Hogan; six step-sisters and two step-brothers, Jackie Dumbra, Sandra Forte, Pamela Droughty, Yolanda Wright, Lisa (Tyrone) Cunningham, Vesta Droughty; Claudie (Katina) Wright and David Mitchell; a special niece and two special nephews, Terra Hogan, Terrence and Terren Hogan; also surviving are a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews; many special friends including Martina Garcia and Tammey Grey. Lathrisha was preceded in death by one brother, Taboris Conner, one sister, Tabitha Conner, and by one aunt, Gayle Fike.Lathrisha’s family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to St. Mary’s of Michigan ICU staff and to all of you for your prayers, presence, love, telephone calls, telegrams and all other expressions shown during our time of bereavement. Never more that now was your kindness needed and more appreciated. We want to thank special friends, Candice Marzec, Amanda Hayes, Crystal Courtney, Artrielle Eaton, the Patrick Family and the Blackman Family.Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Vincent McMillan will officiate. Honoring Lathrisha’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider wishes of the family.
