<p>Peggy Delaney, 80, of Ringgold passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at her home.&nbsp; She was a native of Chattanooga where she was a graduate of Kirkman Technical High School.&nbsp; Mrs. Delaney lived in Ringgold for over 50 years where she was a longtime member of Yates Spring Full Gospel Church.&nbsp; She worked for over 30 years at Standard Coosa Thatcher Credit Union and she retired in 2003 as the Branch Manager of Memorial Hospital Credit Union with over 15 years of service.&nbsp; Mrs. Delaney loved her children and grandchildren dearly.&nbsp; She was known for her kind heart and helping others.&nbsp; She loved reading, watching the game show network on TV, and working with her flowers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Delaney; parents, Harry B. and Ida Rush; and sister, Ella Louise &ldquo;Easy&rdquo; Rush.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Survivors include her three children, Delana (Darrell) Raymond of Richmond, VA, David (Brooke) Delaney, and Daniel Delaney, all of Ringgold; sister, Mary Rush Carlisle of Soddy Daisy, TN; five grandchildren, Seth Raymond, Katie Delaney, Alyssa Delaney, Isaiah Delaney, and Ava Delaney; and nieces and nephews also survive.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Condolences may be shared at www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 25th at 2:00p.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Brother Tim Dennison officiating.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The family will receive friends Friday, September 24th from 6-9p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.</p>
