<p>Lawrence &ldquo;Larry&rdquo; Holland</p> <p>Age 91</p> <p>Passed away September 12, 2021</p> <p>A&nbsp;beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend and Coach.&nbsp;</p> <p>Preceded in death by parents Joe &amp; Sally Holland; daughter Pati Finnegan; and brother Jim Holland.</p> <p>Survived by wife of 65 years Jean; sons Bill (Amy), Dan (Robyn), Mark (Kim) and daughters Ann Marie (Corey Ayling) and Colleen (Steve) DeLuca; sister Mary Kay Ruff; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Raised in Glasgow, MT Larry played basketball for the Marines in San Francisco before attending College of St Thomas in St Paul on the GI Bill. At that time, he met his wife Jean and later began a career with the IRS. His passion was coaching youth sports and he led players to championships in basketball at Transfiguration School (CAA) and in football and baseball at Carver Elementary School (MAA). Another passion was golf and he prized his annual season&rsquo;s pass to the courses of Ramsey County. Now he&rsquo;s left the course, gone to the clubhouse. His was a life well played, he is missed.</p> <p>Visitation will be from 5-7pm, Wednesday, September 22nd at O&rsquo;Halloran &amp; Murphy Funeral Home in Woodbury, MN. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Thursday, September 23rd at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Oakdale, MN with a visitation 1 hour prior to Mass.&nbsp;</p> <p>Luncheon following Mass will be at Oak Marsh Golf Course Event Center, 526 Inwood Ave N, Oakdale, MN. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Transfiguration Men&rsquo;s Club.</p>

Lawrence “Larry” Holland

Age 91

Passed away September 12, 2021

A beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend and Coach. 

Preceded in death by parents Joe & Sally Holland; daughter Pati Finnegan; and brother Jim Holland.

Survived by wife of 65 years Jean; sons Bill (Amy), Dan (Robyn), Mark (Kim) and daughters Ann Marie (Corey Ayling) and Colleen (Steve) DeLuca; sister Mary Kay Ruff; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
