Bruce Earl Houston, aka "Tony" was born in Acworth, Georgia to the late Nellie Bell Houston and Clarence Eugene Hill, Sr. on December 8, 1955.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Joyce Randolph; three brothers, Richard Eugene Houston, Willie Clyde Houston and Doyal Hill, Sr.

Tony attended Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church at a young age. He received his education from Cobb County School System. Tony worked at various places during his life, however, his most memorable are C.W. Matthews and Toyo Tires.

He adored his daughters and grandchildren, he loved talking about them to everyone. They were his pride and jy. Tony loved anything that had to do with cars, he especially loved drag racing. He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves baseball games with his loving and caring sister, Roslyn (Ann) and brother Robert Charles. He got so much enjoyment from just sitting on his front porch "chatting" it up with his nieces, nephews and friends about life. He had a direct line t this brother Lawrence (Tim) when it regarded anything going on in the city near and around his neighborhood which created an even special bond between the two.

Tony leaves to cherish his loving memories; daughter, LaTisha (Keon) James; son, Tarick Obie; grandchildren, Briana, Jade and Bernard; great-grandchild, Nacai; one sister, whom he cherished dearly Roslyn Ann Griffin; two brothers, Robert Charles Houston and Lawrence Timothy (Janice) Houston; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
