Norman E. Johnson, 86, of Brainerd, passed away unexpectedly at St. Joseph’s Medical Center on September 16, 2021.

His wife, Betty H. Johnson 79, of Brainerd, passed away surrounded by her family on December 7, 2020. Services will be held for both Betty and Norman at 11AM on Saturday September 25th at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. A visitation will take place on Friday September 24th from 5pm-7pm at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel and again one hour prior to services on Saturday.

Norman was born on July 30, 1935 to Lloyd and Leona (Becker) Johnson in Leslie Township. He married Betty Swartout on July 1, 1961. He was a great father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a hard worker and always loved to help other people.

He is survived his children; Shelley (Richard) Nelson, Brian Johnson, Darla (John) Anderson, Dennis (Shawnna) Johnson, and Jason Johnson, Bobbie Sue, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Betty, parents; Lloyd and Leona Johnson, siblings; Marjorie (Johnson) Clark and Lloyd Johnson Jr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
