Linda L Stoddard
Elementary school teacher Linda Stoddard’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Linda passed away and was granted her angel wings on 15 September 2021 at the age of 60 after a battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones. Linda completed her Bachelors degree in education at the University of Maine at Machias. Linda’s pride was in her school and students, and she shared her passion for learning with hundreds of children over the years. Those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. She is survived by her mother, Donna Sprague; brother and spouse, Sheril and Jane Sprague, and sister and spouse Bonnie Sprague and Jake Walke; and special friends, Lydia and Ryse Moholland; and other close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Sprague. A memorial service is scheduled for her school family at 9 am on 25 September, 2021 at the Rose M. Gaffney elementary school. In lieu of flowers, please donate a children’s book to the Rose M. Gaffney School or a book to a public library for those that have the life-long love of reading as Linda did.
