Peacefully September 15,2021 at age 77. Predeceased by his parents Frank & Grace Chatterton, sister Patricia (John) Hertzel, sons-in-law Peter Glavin & Michael Palermo. Survived by his wife of 56 years Mary Margaret (Connor); daughters Christine Glavin, Michele (Mark) DePetres, Amy Palermo; grandchildren Donovan & Shauna Glavin, Jordan & Gabrielle DePetres, Cameron & Sydney Palermo; brothers Ronald (Carol) Chatterton, John (Kathleen) Chatterton; sister Judy (Robert) Dayton; brothers & sisters-in-law; nieces & nephews, aunts & cousins. Jim & Mary were married June 5, 1965 and he was ordained a deacon June 12, 1993. He was an Aquinas graduate, class of 1962 and a graduate of Gannon University, class of 1966.He played basketball & baseball in high school, college and for Kodak Athletic League. He was a long time employee of Eastman Kodak Company and was active in St. Mark's & St. Lawrence parishes, including the Knights of Columbus and the Men's Club. Jim enjoyed watching and supporting his grandchildren in their various sports & other activities. He was always seen with a camera or video recorder in his hands. Calling hours will be held 2-5 Sunday, September 19th at St. Mark's Church. Funeral Mass 10 AM Monday, September 20th at St. Mark's Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hildebrandt Hospice at rrhgive.org/giving (please designate Hildebrandt Hospice), Aquinas Institute, or Gannon University Athletic Fund.
