Juliet "Jule" Carr Graham

Juliet “Jule” Aileen Carr Graham, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at The Delaney Assisted Living, Bridgewater, with the prayers of her loving family. Jule was born on March 13, 1932, in Flushing, Queens, NY. She graduated from Grover Cleveland High School and went on to Secretarial School. She married her sweetheart, Arthur Graham in 1952, and lived with her husband and daughters in Ridgewood, Queens, where she was active in St. Brigid’s Church and was a Brownie Leader for many years, before moving to Menlo Park Terrance in 1966. Jule began working for a law firm in 1981 in Edison and later Iselin and retired in 2008, after 27 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Iselin, since 1967, where she was Girls State Chairlady for over 25 years. She was an active parishioner of St. Matthew’s RC Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister to the sick and a member of the Pre-Cana Team and Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Arthur Graham in 2003, her daughter Kathleen Bobal in 2018, and her mother, Elizabeth Carr in 1970. She is survived by her daughters and “sons-in-law”, Deborah and Charles Chamak of Somerset, Gerard Bobal of Edison, and Victoria Mercuro of Edison; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Collison, Christopher (Jennifer)Chamak, Matthew ( Nicole) Chamak, Erin( Michael) Noss, Meghan( Andrew) Demetor; Brian Bobal, Amanda and Jessica Mercuro; 9 great-grandchildren Nolan, Nicholas and Liam Collison, Madeline and Lily Noss, Caleigh and Caitlin Demetor, Logan Chamak, and Lucas Chamak. Her life was filled with joy and happiness when she spent time with her family. Funeral services will take place on Monday, 8:45 am at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave.(Rt.27), Metuchen, followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthews RC Church, Edison. Interment is in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation is Sunday 3-6 pm In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Marydell Faith and Life Center, 640 North Midland Ave., Nyack, NY 10960, or to the charity of your choice.
