Christine Wells

Christine Bryant Wells was born on August 17th, 1929 in Metter Georgia to the late Preacher James Fedd and Eva Sims Fedd. She received her education from the Waycross Public School System. She attended St. Luke AME Church in Waycross, Georiga. Upon her marriage to Mr. Joseph Wells she moved to Rockledge where she joined Zion Orthodox Primitive Baptist Church in Cocoa, Florida. She was a very active church member. Christine was associated with the Eastern Star Chapter 183. Christine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Wells Sr. of Rockledge, Florida; children: (Monk) James C. Fedd (Shirley), Brunswick GA, Sheral E. Barkley of Waycross and Donnie M. Goodman Sr. of Albany, GA. her sister, Georgia Mae Griffin of Metter GA; her brother, (Samson) Cleotis Weston (Mary) of Atlanta, GA.; three step-sons: Bobby Wells, William Wells and Clarence Wells all of Rockledge, FL; grand son (Sandy) Eugene Barkley of Waycross GA. Christine leaves to cherish her memories sister, Cora Lee Porter (Johnny), JoAnn S. Smith (Fred), Eva Ruth Burse (Leonard); brother (Buddy) Leon Fedd (Gloria); step-daughter, Sandra W. Jones (Ernest); two step-sons: James E. Wells all of Waycross GA, and Joseph Wells Jr. Rockledge FL.; and a host of great grands and great great grands. A very dear and special friend that preceded her in death Mrs. Maxine Porter. Special family friends Mr. Ricky Bannister and Joyce Wells and Elizabeth Taylor.
