Jennifer P. Murphy, 49 , of Pacific, passed away on September 13, 2021. Jennifer, daughter of the late Willie Pate and his wife Joan nee Smith, was born on March 3, 1972 in Warner Robbins, GA. On January 9, 2013 she was united in marriage to David Murphy in Clayton, MO.

She was preceded in death her father, Willie Pate; son, Michael Pate, and two brothers, Robert and Michael Pate.

Among her survivors are her husband David Murphy of Pacific; her mother, Joan Pate of Byron, GA; children, Timothy Mitchell Pate of Byron, GA, Morgan Paige Murphy of Springfield, MO, and Emmilyn Murphy of Springfield, MO; siblings, Randy Pate and wife Jean of Milledgeville, GA, Russell Pate and wife Rachel of Dahlonega, GA, Lewis Pate of Albany, GA, Clara Canady of Moultrie, GA, and Kathy Oglesby and husband Jim of Albany, GA; one grandchild, Georgia Reign Murphy; mother-in-law, Veronica Murphy of High Ridge; father-in-law, Robert Murphy of Pacific; other relatives and friends.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the St. Patricks’s Rock Church, with interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Patrick’s Rock Church.
